WHAT IS IN YOUR BEAUTY PRODUCTS
The European Union has banned over 1100 chemicals in the use of skin care products. USA has only banned 10. Zosia organics has proudly banned them all making our products 100% toxin-free.
DEA, MEA, TEA: Can be carcinogenic, especially to the kidneys and liver. Cause allergic reactions, irritations to the eyes, irritates and dries out the skin.
IMIDAZOLIDINYL UREA & DMDM HYDANTOIN: Weakens the immune system and can cause cancer. They also can cause: joint pain, allergies, headaches, dizziness, insomnia, and asthma.
METHYL, PROPYL, BUTYL, ISOPROPYL, & ETHYLPARABENS: Highly Toxic! Inflames skin which in turn speeds up the ageing process. Also cause allergic reactions and skin irritations. Found in a high percentage of cancer specimens.
TALC: Found in forms of powders, including makeup and baby powder. A major cause of ovarian cancer when used in the genital area. Can lodge into the lungs and causes respiratory disorders.
BHA: Possible human carcinogen; Endocrine disrupter; skin sensitizer.
SODIUM LAURYL SULFATE: Easily penetrates the skin and lodges itself in the heart, liver, lungs and brain. Can become carcinogenic when combined with other chemicals. Can cause permentant damage to the eyes (especially in children). Also can cause, hair loss, rashes, mouth ulcerations.
ISOPROPYL ALCOHOL: A poisonous solvent and denaturant (altering the structure of other chemicals) Dries skin and hair that can result in cracking and chapping leaving it susceptible to bacteria growth. Also can cause nausea, vomiting, and headaches.
SYNTHETIC FRAGRANCE: These are chemically engineered fragrances (usually petroleum based) that cause many allergies and are the reason why a growing population must use fragrance free products.
SYNTHETIC DYES: Carcinogenic.
Culprit companies claim that they use such a small percentage in their products that it won’t hurt you. Think again! Add up each product you use with these chemicals (x) the number a day you use them (x) everyday. Get the picture?
